Who am I?My name is Mark Hanin and I am a second year Biology major at UCR. I am campaigning to be your next Personnel Director because I believe in bringing a voice to the many students and colleges on campus. I believe in expanding the diversity of the elected student body by electing officials who represent change and who come from different communities on campus.

About the Campaign:
Hello there! My name is Mark Hanin and I am really happy to announce my candidacy to be your next ASUCR Personnel Director. I am building my campaign on the promise to increase transparency between you and the administration. Often times, many decisions concerning you as a student are simply made without you knowing about them. That is why I am campaigning to make sure that you are able to know how and why such decisions are made. We live in unprecedented times and life as we know it will never be the same but that does not mean that if there is nothing that can be done to right some wrongs.
I believe in the voices of many above one. Change is not made by one person but made by many. It is made by reaching out to others and knowing the heart of the problem, not behind mere titles and empty words. As a Student Voice Delegate, I made sure to go out on campus grounds to survey some of you on a variety of issues and propositions concerning you such as the price of textbooks, the reserve system and offering sign language courses here on campus among other things. Not only that, but I got to talk with you and hear your thoughts and opinions on what you believed was needed to be done. As a result, the Senate got to hear your true voice and consider addressing your concerns.
Merely campaigning a list of what I will do and not do is not enough but going the extra mile to make sure that I know what you want to be done is the real deal. This is not from experience but from who I am. This is just the beginning and together we can make it to the end. Till then, make sure to positively impact your time here at UCR by making your mark. Make your Mark by voting for Mark!!!!!!!
